Welcome To

Cowboy Ministers Network!

Cowboy Ministers Network (CMN) is a fellowship designed to promote unity and provide a place of contact throughout the Western Ministry world. It is our desire to come together through love and respect to serve one another and to honor God by displaying accountability to His Word.

It is a place, among good friends, where ministries may safely come to obtain wise counsel in order to fulfill and accomplish all that our Lord Jesus Christ has called each to do. Our relationships will enable us to hold up one another’s hands whatever the area of need.

Our Purpose

The purpose of CMN is to come along side ministries so that they can reach their fullest potential and effectiveness. CMN is a ministry of helps in the truest sense. It is also in the purpose of CMN to be a ministry that will bring unity among diverse ministries that have a heart to reach the Cowboy/Western world. CMN believes that as we unite together we can all do more for the Kingdom of God.

Our Goals

The goals of CMN are pretty big! We desire CMN to be an instrument of the Lord to bring the entire Cowboy/Western ministry world together to make an incredible impact in the world as we usher in the end time out pouring of the Holy Spirit before Jesus comes back. We desire Ephesians 4:2-3 (NKJV) ‘with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace’ and Philippians 2:2-4 (NKJV) ‘Fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests

of others.’ to be the standard of unity among the Cowboy/Western world ministries.

We are committed to seeing this kind of unity happen through relationships and camaraderie. This is best done through our fellowship with one another and communication.

At CMN we are committed to having a monthly communication with each one of our members as well as being available to help with questions or connect you with people that can help you with needs that may arise.

There will be members listed on our website and some tips that may help you with the ministry that God has called you to.

Corey Ross was born in Casa Grande, Arizona, while his dad was working on the 26-Bar Ranch for John Wayne. This allowed him and his brothers to grow up living the cowboy lifestyle that many young boys dream about. In 1989, Corey’s real-life experience in the cowboy lifestyle paid off when he qualified for the College National Finals in the Team Roping events. Professional Rodeo has always been an important part of Corey’s life.

He is the founder of Cowboy Ministries Outreach Center and has been serving the Lord as an evangelist since 1994. He has become well-known throughout the Professional Rodeo circuit, both for his feats in the Steer Roping/Team Roping competitions and as a Cowboy Preacher. For many years he has preached at PRCA events and college rodeos all over the country. He leads a week-long service at the College National Finals and preaches at the National Finals in Las Vegas. In his travels, he has many opportunities to minister one-on-one with cowboys and tell them about Jesus.

At home, Corey and Jaime are pastors to a great group of folks at Williamson County Cowboy Church in Liberty Hill, TX.

Corey was appointed as the president of CMN in 2017, after Glenn Smith’s passing.

In 1999, Rusty and Cathy stepped into full time ministry at the birth of He Paid Your Fees Ministry. God used them to launch the idea of rodeo events produced with no entry fees, but prize money to win. God introduced this concept through He Paid Your Fees Ministry and churches across the nation embraced the idea and ran with it.

Rusty and Cathy felt that was exactly God’s plan and moved on to their next assignment. For the last 15 years they have been serving as ‘pinch hitters’ for pastors who need to be gone for a Sunday here and there. Ministering to the needs of the saints whenever and wherever the Lord leads is their passion.

With God in the center, life is a power packed adventure… and we are signed up for the ride!

“Go into the highways and byways and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.” Luke 14:23

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

The purpose of our organizations, Trey Johnson Ministries, Trey Johnson Leadership, and Trey Johnson Roping Schools, is for people to know God and be the best them that they can be. Our vision to get this accomplished is to “reach the world with the gospel and change lives, one thought at a time.” How will we get this accomplished (our plan)? Through television, books, magazines, radio, social media; through every available voice. One service, one leadership teaching, one roping school, one roping event or rodeo event, one person and one thought at a time.

Trey has been in ministry since 1998 and has been a part of 7 different church start-ups, pastoring for almost 9 years, and traveling to different parts of the country and the world the rest of the time. He was the 2000 PRCA Resistol Rookie of the Year Heeler in the team roping and has won major rodeos and roping competitions throughout his career. He continues to compete professionally to this day as well as conducting roping clinics around the world. Trey is also an executive director for the John Maxwell organization (which is the number one leadership development organization in the world) and conducts workshops and leadership development on all different levels to all different age groups. Trey is also an author of books and an international speaker. He is the weekly host of “Being Your Best, with Trey Johnson,” currently reaching approximately 500 million people around the world weekly, on Dish Network TV, Direct TV, and several other television networks.

Trey is married to his beautiful wife Heather, who is in the ministry with him. They live in Weatherford, Texas. They have three kids, Maci, Hayes, and Chloe. Trey and Heather are honored to be apart of what God is doing around the world.

Darin and Lynette come from a rich history of ministry. Before they were married, each of them followed the desire in their hearts to serve God. Both committed to serving in the ministry of helps for various ministries for several years. It was through that very servanthood that they were both led to the same cowboy ministers conference where they met. Six months later they were married and began the adventure of serving God together.

God soon called them out, as they began doing road ministry. Where God opened the door, they went! During those years they ministered at rodeo events, conferences, and churches. Those years of traveling gave them a deep understanding and love for traveling ministries. Deep and enduring relationships were formed during those years.

In 2000, the couple was called to start a work in Northern Colorado. Together they pioneered Northern Colorado Cowboy Church, also known as N3C. The church is established on a strong apostolic and prophetic foundation (Eph 2:20). From its inception, N3C has been a church that is passionate about nurturing and equipping people through discipleship to fulfill their destiny. Northern Colorado Cowboy Church is located just north of Greeley, CO.

Darin and Lynette live in Greeley, as well as their son and daughter-in-love, and their daughter.
