When I was 14 years old I met the woman I wanted to marry, and knew what I wanted to do in life...and that was to be a Cowboy. I rodeoed all through High School and for a little while after that, then I went into the cutting horse business. All I could think about was being the...WORLD CHAMPION...!!!
For several years I chased that pot of gold. I went to every cutting I could get to. I thought if I couldn't get there they should call it off!!! Some people get into bondage that is hard to break and that gets us in a lot of trouble Jesus said... Matthew 6:33 "Seek ye FIRST the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you."
Sonny's string of titles include: 1976 American Quarter Horse Association: (A.Q.H. A.) Jr.Cutting Horse Champion: 1976 A.Q.H.A. Sr. Cutting Horse Champion: 1977 A.Q.H.A. Jr. Cutting Horse Champion: 1978 NCHA World Champion Stallion: 3rd in the National Cutting Horse Assoc. (N.C.H.A.): 1983 N.C.H.A.-8th Open Cutter: 1984 N.C.H.A. -Reserve Champion Open Cutter: 1985 N.C.H.A.-9th Open Cutter and then: 1986 N.C.H.A.- Open WORLD CHAMPION.
He began his walk with the Lord on Dec. 20, 1987. I was on the evangelist trail for 10 years. I have traveled all over the U.S., Canada & Australia preaching and putting on cutting horse clinics. On Oct. 16, 1997 the All Around Cowboy Church was founded. The ministry of AACC includes first of all salvation of the lost. We have events such as Barrel Racing-Steer Roping-Calf Roping-Steer Dogging-Cutting Horses and arena events for the wee children also.

Corey Ross |
Corey Ross, founder of Cowboy Ministries Outreach Center, has been serving the Lord as an evangelist for over 12 years, and has become well-known throughout the Professional Rodeo circuit, both as a Cowboy Preacher and for his feats in the Team Roping competitions.
Born in the early spring of 1969, in Casa Grande, Arizona, Corey Ross grew up living the cowboy lifestyle that many young cowboys dream about, working with his Dad on the 26-Bar Ranch for none other than John Wayne, the “Duke”. In 1989, Corey’s real life experience in the cowboy lifestyle paid off when he qualified for the College Nation Finals in the Team Roping events. Professional Rodeo has always been an important part of Corey’s life, but nothing can compare to the relationship he so freely sings and preaches about, all across the nation, as he tells them about Jesus.
Growing up in a singing household, a music ministry was a given for Corey, but at a young age Corey answered another call as well, the call to preach. Now, after pioneering several Cowboy Churches, recording a couple of music CD’s, and establishing himself as a successful Rodeo Cowboy Minister and Professional Rodeo Cowboy competitor, Corey finds himself called to pastor a wonderful bunch of folks in Liberty Hill Texas where they’ve formed the Williamson County Cowboy Church.
Now, together with his wife Jaime and his daughter Londyn and son Seth ,Corey travels the countryside, singing and preaching the uncompromising Word of God, always making it back in time for his new ‘home church’ at the Smiling V Ranch in Liberty Hill Texas. Corey continues to tell folks about that one special person that has changed his life … forever. For Corey Ross, there is only one way to doing what God has called him to do … by “preaching Jesus, Cowboy style!”
