Darin Gleghorn |
Darin Gleghorn began serving in cowboy ministry in 1992. In 1997 he met his wife, Lynette, at a cowboy ministers conference in Laughlin, Nevada and married later that year. They, together, continued serving in cowboy ministry until mid-1998, when God released them to found Grand Finale Cowboy Ministries. They were ordained by Glenn Smith of International Western World Outreach Center in 1999 and traveled, ministering on the road mostly at churches and cowboy churches in Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Wyoming, until God called them to serve as Associate Pastors at a Cowboy Church in Colorado Springs. That experience led them to Fort Collins, Colorado, where in May of 2000, with the help of their church in Colorado Springs, pioneered Cowboy Church in this northern Colorado community.
Today the church has moved east of Fort Collins and is thriving. Many hearts and lives have been reached in the northern Colorado western and cowboy world through weekly meetings and a road ministry that is still reaching beyond the church walls on any given day. Their passion is to see men, women, and children to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, get plugged in to a local church, and be conformed by the Word of God, so that all may be presented to Jesus, at His return, perfect in the image of Christ Jesus, a bride without spot or wrinkle (Col. 1:27-28).
They have two children, a son, Rhett and a daughter, Rhiatta.
